CEO
A few years ago, my father fell victim to a scam. It didn’t happen because he was careless. Scammers are experts at pretending to help. They used the right phrases, sounded calm and leveraged the authority of a well-known company to convince him to hand over money.
It showed me how easily bright, capable people can be manipulated. Watching him go through that was eye-opening. The pain was sharp, not because of the fraud itself, but because of the helplessness I felt after the bank had done all they could. That sense of helplessness is what drove me to act.
