Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in advancing our AI capabilities, focusing on the continuous improvement of our detection models. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and security experts to enhance model performance, ensuring our systems stay ahead of sophisticated scam strategies. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and optimization of AI models for scam detection, including natural language processing (NLP), anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.

Continually improve existing models through techniques such as fine-tuning with domain-specific scam datasets, hyperparameter optimization, and ensemble methods.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources, including proprietary scam datasets, public fraud repositories, and real-time user feedback.

Design and implement scalable AI pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment using cloud-based infrastructure.

Conduct experiments to benchmark model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency against emerging scam patterns, such as phishing, ransomware, or social engineering attacks.

Monitor model performance in production, identifying drift and implementing retraining strategies to maintain high efficacy.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in AI ethics, bias mitigation, and data privacy compliance.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and apply them to enhance our scam prevention technologies.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field (PhD preferred).

5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record in building and deploying production-grade models.

Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.

Strong experience with fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) or other AI architectures using specialized datasets.

Proficiency in programming languages like Python, and familiarity with tools for data processing (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and model serving (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI workloads.

Solid understanding of ML evaluation metrics, A/B testing, and handling imbalanced datasets common in fraud detection.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Preferred Skills
Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or related domains.
Experience with generative AI, adversarial training, or federated learning.
Knowledge of ethical AI practices and regulatory frameworks like GDPR or CCPA.
Contributions to open-source projects or publications in AI/ML conferences.
